Happy 23rd birthday to my sissy *inserts kissy faces*
Mookata @ Golden Mile was soOOoooOOooo satisfying :-) Our bill only summed up to around 62 bucks in total (which is approx. 15/16 per person?) so it was a really good deal :-) We even ordered extra meat yay it's definitely MUCH better than the mookata restaurant along East Coast Rd which is always crowded (I don't understand why), expensive (we spent around 40 per person for a weekday dinner the other time), and isn't even that nice as compared to this. Will want to head back to Golden Mile again for more authentic thai food :-) (Golden Mile is like a mini Thailand)

Had an impromptu meet-up with best, yp and siew (my fellow east-siders) at night :-) Haven't met siew in a really long time now, so I was really happy hehehe and I'm always thankful for their company :-)

| Shiok Maki (1st Gen) |
Accompanied Weijia for her prom shopping and finally tried shiok maki :-) (Koh Grill & Sushi Bar @ Wisma) Now I finally understand all the hype over shiok maki, cause it's REALLY yummy (coming from a person who doesn't like cream/cheese/salmon/unagi that much). We waited for about 30-45 mins for the shiok maki though, so by the time it arrived, I was too full from all the udon and baby octopus we ordered hahaha oh but I really like the udon too :-)
4/12, Wednesday
Spent 12 hours with the best company at yw's house :-) (Watched X-Men 1 and 2, Grown Ups 2, parts of Pitch Perfect and Austin Powers and prepared lunch) Will always be thankful for them :-)

Lunch whipped up by Loi :-)
We were trying to figure out how to cook poached eggs hahahaha it turned out to be quite easy?! (http://m.wikihow.com/Poach-an-Egg)
My fav photo of the night :-)
5/12, Thursday
The Bravery cafe with Venise and best.
If you weren't specifically looking for The Bravery cafe, it's a cafe that's quite hard to spot. The exterior looks rather shabby, with the window panes dark, making it hard to see what's inside. They don't have a door knob or handle either, so if you're planing to visit this cafe, PUSH THE GOLDEN DOOR (or loiter outside and wait for the staff to assist you). The interior of the cafe isn't as dark as it seems in the picture, it's actually quite pretty with the light bulbs and all :-) It has a rather unique layout and really friendly staff.
We ordered coffee (iced coffee for best, cappuccino for me, and lavender latte for Venise) and a set of eggs on toast + turkey bacon. Lavender latte is The Bravery's speciality drink (not on menu), and I've heard a lot of good reviews about it. The three of us didn't really like it though hahaha but you can always try! It looks pretty and tastes quite interesting. I liked the brunch set, but my two friends weren't impressed. I will want to head back again if I'm looking for a cafe to chill and do my work. Oh it took us about 5 mins to walk to the cafe (from Lavender cafe) so it's rather convenient too :-)
Town after our late lunch. Ion definitely has the best Christmas lightings and decorations.
THE COOKIE MONSTER MASCOT WAS SO LIKABLE
:-)
6/12, Friday
Woke up /very/ early in the morning to prepare for the walk-in interview at Resorts World Sentosa with Loi and her friend's sister (who is a very sweet and pretty girl :-) ). The interview was ok, but I crashed for a few hours after I got home because I was so exhausted. It is never a good idea to sleep only 4 hours before going for an interview. Spent my previous night reading Hunger Games up to the last page because the arena scene was too exciting and I couldn't put the book down hahaha.
Oh and I watched Hunger Games the movie on Friday night and thought it was very well directed? I love the music they chose (especially the front part). Thought Catching Fire was better filmed though, but now I understand why fans complain the arena scene was too short in Catching Fire- Hunger Games did a better job. Comparing the book and the movie, I think they are good in different areas, and for once I'd think that the movie adaptation is equally as good as the book (usually film adaptations suck). While I find it a pity they left out certain parts out in the movie, I thought other alterations were even better and made the whole plot even smoother. Shall start on Catching Fire (book) soon!
7/12, Saturday
Pigsfly Kitchen & Bar with Jiaqi.
Naked Apple cider was good, but definitely overpriced? Spent 17 bucks on this 330ml drink. (Strawberry & Lime flavored cider was 12)
My fav girl who's finally done with her exams! Had a good time catching up, but I was so tired I kept spacing out haha. See you soon qi :-)
8/12, Sunday
I spent the whole day playing maple with yw and managed to level from 66 to 75 hahahahahaha I have no life but maple can be quite fun???????????????????

On a side note, I love thai comedies so much hahahahaha re-watched two of my favorite thai comedies and felt so much better after watching them :-) If you're interested, search for ATM: Er Rak Error and Hello Strangers and watch them!!!
Have a lovely week ahead!
