Loved their 'Berries and Flap Jacks' :-)
Not so sure about their strawberry shortcake though... I prefer creamier ones.

Really liked their spaghetti :-) The one I ordered wasn't too creamy! Find their (much raved for) pancake souffle a lil too over-rated though? Nevertheless it was decent and I would want to head back again :-)

+ points: the ambience was great, he fish and chips and coffee were impressive (they have a few of the best baristas in town apparently!)
- points: we got a lil (too) sick of the chocolate fudge cake coming to the end, and qi's poached eggs were /extremely/ overcooked

This was my favorite place to go during my secondary school days, because it is located right outside my secondary school, and mainly cause it offers really cheap western food :-) We used to be able to enjoy their free flow buffet for 8 bucks! The buffet is no longer available now, but their prices are still kept as affordable :-) The fish cordon bleu I ordered is only 10.90 hehehe (and that's the average price) and the fish is so tender!!! Definitely recommending this place for its affordable western cuisine.

16. Shokudo Japanese Coffee House @ Cathay Cineleisure
Not a flattering picture, but their seafood udon is really yummy :-) Shokudo closes at 2am if I'm not wrong, so it's the perfect place to satisfy your late-night cravings/ hunger pangs too yay
17. WTF (We are The Furballs) @ Tanjong Katong
WTF is one of the very few dog cafes in Singapore :-)
For a price of 7.50, you can enjoy a cup of bubble tea and the company of the owners' dogs at the second floor (they've 7 in total!) :-) I've been there twice, but the dogs don't seem to like me very much hahahaha so you can always try your luck there!

19. d'Good Cafe @ Holland Village
d'Good Cafe is one of the prettiest cafe I've been to, and I really love their layout! (They've an open rooftop area!) It's a really nice cafe to chill at, but the food was.......... bland and very disappointing.

Ordered 'Holy Caesar' and loved it :-) (And that's coming from a person who's not a big fan of burgers)
21. Ice Edge Cafe @ Kovan
Ice Edge Cafe is just a 5 mins' walk away from Kovan Mrt :-) They offer this really good 1-for-1 weekday lunch price deal, which is available from 12-3pm. My friend and I ordered 2 main courses, an appetizer, soup, and mao shan wang lava cake, but it didn't cost us much. Their seafood aglio olio was average, but the salmon steak I ordered was really impressive :-) Mao shan wang lava cake was a lil disappointing though, but I'll definitely head back again for their other desserts and gelato ice cream :-)

They've one of the cheapest yet freshest sushi :-) Every plate is just for 1.50!

They've a really nice layout, but their food is really average. You may want to visit this cafe if you're looking for somewhere to chill though!
