The above 3 words (post title) says it all. I'm feeling so restless and stressed now it's ridiculous, but I will hang in there. I blame it all on my menses that I foresee will come in 5 days' time ; Since life is generally happy now, there's no reason why I should be feeling so negative too. But it just seems like there are too much things for me to worry about, so much people to be concerned about. I feel like I didn't do my part y'see.

I'm so excited for school that I can't wait for my hair to dry so that I can go to bed and wake up a few hours later to prepare for school am I making sense???????

I was really nervous about meeting new classmates last night hahahaha but my worries turned out to be unfounded so lucky me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These few days have been spent at lectures, 2/3hours breaks between lectures,

and hanging out with v4 with cards and ball.

I'm glad we are still as close now that orientaton is over :)

I REALLY, REALLY LIKE MY OG

Last week was spent @ Nyj orientation, dinner with G, Weijia, Cedric, Jh, Wilson, Makairn on tuesday, and dinner with my og on wednesday, thursday, and friday. First day of orientation consisted of talks, briefings, introductions, ice-breaking games, second day family games, learning of cheers and songs, mass dance, CCA bazaar, third day at Sentosa, family games and competition, last day water bombs, mass dance, cheers, families' cheering competition, disco night and families' dance competition. By the end of the last day I lost my voice, had blisters all over my feet. On the last day we had beancurd for supper at somewhere near school too after disco night, and it's surprisingly as yummy as the old airport road ones!!!!!! Texas chicken dinner on tuesday was fail cause I was laughing so badly that I couldn't finish up my favourite chicken. Dinner with my og at different sky gardens included more getting-to-know, cheers, games and forfeits. I'm really glad I got into V4; They are all so cute and enthusiastic!!!!! I like it that we all get along so well :) Can't wait to attend lectures with them this week hahahaha (class is not out yet) tomorrow's a special day!!! (wink wink)

This year we've over 900 students in J1! For orientation we are all split into 4 families, Vesta, Astraeus, Helios, Luna, before we group further into let's say, V1-V10. I'm in V4!!!! :)

Too sleepy to elaborate now, my eyes are swollen from all the lack of sleep this week!

Ka chang bu teh after a long long time!

It was completely cool, with the cupcake workshop which was fun, and free ka chang bu teh, sogurt yoghurt, photobooth polariods and great music. Also, we received a glass bottle of coke and donuts after J chose a book genre! You can choose any genre and after you've decided, they will hand you a library book of that genre for you to read; Like a recommendation! I'M GLAD I WOKE UP THAT DAY that event's really cool! And how J found out about the event's that she accidentally added one of the organizers on facebook the other day, mistaking her as her primary school friend, and thus found out about the event. She was so embarrassed when she explained how she found out about RETROspect hahahaha
Today I met up with Liwen @ Parkway to get the cake, cards, hello kitty chocolates and all (wink wink) on behalf of the OG! It was her first time at Parkway cause she lives at somewhere far far away SHE SO CUTE

I first came across to this movie on my flight back from hk, and I must say I wasn't too disappointed. It isn't as draggy as I've expected (or so I heard), but not as moving either- I reached the end of the film with zero emotions, but 100% convinced that the novel will definitely be better. So ta-da, I bought the book, and reached the last of it few days back. And I'm right!!! It's captivating and witty but not as in-depth as I hoped it'll be. But at the same time I can't expect too much too since this book revolves around 15th July, St. Swithin's Day, the day they first met only, so it's not known to the readers the rest of the days in each year. Each chapter covers their lives on that special day, for 20 years. Interesting huh?! They spent some of the years (on that day) together, some in different parts of the world, with absolutely different lifestyles.READ IT.If you like Anne Hathaway you should watch the movie too!!!JIM STURGESS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Last thursday night Si ying, Kai li and Jia yu-jiejie (sorry my habit) came over for kinect before driving my sister and I to Ice Cream Chefs and U.d.d.e.r.s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were luckily the last customers of Ice Cream Chefs, but crème brulee and chocolate ice-cream that we ordered were average and disappointing. U.d.d.e.r.s was better!!! We ordered Mao Shan Wang and Bailey's & Bourbon (superb), and since the opening hours are longer, it was buzzing with people. There are so many other flavours I would love to try! Lemoncello sorbet, Strawberry Fields................................
On friday Jiaai Lishan Weijia Yx Ryan Markairn Wilson Cedric Jh came over to my house to bai nian! That day we played kinect sports and dance central, sing-it, fruit ninja, black jack, pizza for lunch, McDonald's for dinner, watched half of 500 days of summer, and half of running man (SNSD). I lost over 10 dollars to banker ryan damn but it was usual good times with them :)
Over the weekend we had house parties at my cousin's place and my place respectively. Met teck cong after a long, long time!!!!! :) Over that 2 days my little cousins, nieces and nephews shared with me millions of stories of their schools and friends. It was nice.
This morning I went over to qq's house at 9, had some spicy udon for breakfast, watched 2 episodes of wgm, Jiaqi came over, baked 2 butter cakes, read an interesting tumblr blog, came back to my place, sing-it, danced, had dinner, and watched Jang Geun Suk (yes) documentary.
SO THAT SUMS UP THE LAST OF MY HOLIDAY....SCHOOL STARTS TMRW.....NOI NEED A LONGER HOLIDAY....BUT AT THE SAME TIME I CAN'T WAIT FOR SCHOOL TO STARTCAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROWYAY

A summary of my life:
After my trip to hk, I met up with my girls, had a hair cut, lost some photos, went to causeway point for the first time, watched a bouldering competition, 'Gravical', with my sister, went to my cousin's place for house-warming, had my first 3D tv experience, celebrated Jeanette's birthday with the girls, caught up with each other's life, collected o level results back in school, had qq over for movies, went for Nyjc, Mj, Tpjc's open houses with different groups of people, stayed home and watched running man, played sims3 with new characters, celebrated Weijia's 17th at her place with the class, bowled for an hour straight, had brunch at Cafe de Waraku, went for a night jog @ Ecp with Jiaqi, new year shopped with my sister, parents, and visited my girls at work, bought a book- 'One day' by David Nicholls, went back to Weijia's place again with my girls and Jh for more kinect, China town with my family to stock up the new year goodies, and finally, Ep gathering @ Pasir ris park on the 21st before new year, got my kinect on the same day. Ok I'm getting drowsy from all the medicines I had an hour ago so forgive me for the grammatically incorrect blabber! My summary of life turned out to be not so brief, so I shall cut short on any other nonsensical stuffs now. Here are the photos from some of those days I mentioned above

It's blur but also the only group photo we took that day! I missed siew so, so much I was glad I met her that day!!! That day was spent roaming around town, having thai food for lunch, and settling down at different spots just to chat and catch up with each other's life. Lovely day indeed :)

Accompanying me tonight I've skittles and fever while I type on this space after a long, long time. It's almost 2 weeks since I've last done up a proper update!!! Fingers x for my fever to go as fast as it came. Chinese new year is just round the corner and I need to meet my loves aw

(And it wasn't even that crowded compared to new year count down) :(
'Symphony of Lights' was a utter disappointment!!!! We left after 5 minutes for steamboat dinner @ Xiao Fei Yang restaurant. I don't know whether you've heard about it before but it turned out to be completely over-rated too :( It succeeded in chasing away the cold though, since it was exceptionally chilly that night. After dinner it was roaming around the streets for a lil shopping before count down! It was like a shopping paradise hehehehehe with the streets free of vehicles!!!!!! That night I brought 2 Adidas and Nike jackets home and I'm lovin' them!!!
New year count down was insane; I swear I felt like an ant amidst the crowd. There were probably hundreds of thousands of people ah the crowd was crazy. Coming to 11.45, we decided we should probably just stay put instead of squeezing through the crowd, and so we settled down in the middle of nowhere. There was no way you can get out anyway; we couldn't even see an end to the crowd, and I'm not talking about a street, I'm talking about a few blocks down the road, a few more junctions and streets!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention some dude around me passed gas 1000000 times and so it was stinking like mad :( How can he do that to me and everyone else in the crowd :( But on a side and lighter note, it was dope. A superb experience. Young people there like to give free hugs, and while waiting for the fireworks, we cheered and waved, screamed and sung. But it was all so ridiculous cause since we were nowhere close to the Victoria harbour, there were no huge accurate clocks nearby, we ended up counting down quite a few times since everyone's watches showed different times hahahaha and we only got to catch a small part of the fireworks. It still made the crowd go oo and ah though! But it's only until the next day (news) that I saw how truly beautiful the fireworks were................................................. and the complete picture.
Day 4 (Camera-free day)That day we made our way to Mainland for shopping but it was a truly disastrous day. That day we had lunch at a restaurant, completely ignorant of the fact that it was their first day of business. It was chaotic, and food was bad and limited. It was impossible to shop too since it was as crowded as new year count down in hk. It was so crowded they had to lock the exits of the mrt and 'release' a group of people at one time. And not to mention, they chose to start blocking when we were half-way through the tunnel to the station and so we were stuck in the middle of nowhere with limited air supply, unable to move an inch. The massage we looked forward to the entire day turned out to be a disappointment. The massage left us with blue-blacks the next morning while they also dampened our moods with impromptu corrections to the prices of both manicure and massage coming to the end of the session. Ok I'm sorry for ranting hahahahaha but I will tell you I had the best meal ever that night. It was heavenly.

This trip to Hong kong was a special one :)

Truth to be said, I rarely go on free-and-easy trips but often with tour groups, tour guides and all. So this time it was a fairly good and different experience. It was a moderation between taxis, hotel shuttle buses and public transport, tourism spots and roaming the streets, road-side stalls, cha chan teng and restaurants and even Mcdonald's or local curry fishballs for supper. Most importantly, we got to meet my sister after 4 months :)

So here are the photos from day one and two!

I was still learning how to use the camera though so some of the photos are quite unfocused!

Day 1 (When I was still extremely fascinated with their streets. You'll see)

Spent the first few hours of Christmas Eve wrapping gifts for the little ones with my aunt, early afternoon with qq, late afternoon and night @ my cousin's place for house-warming + x'mas party with my extended family, last few hours of eve and first few hours of x'mas with my lovely babes, at Janice's place :) At my cousin's place, we had a scrumptious dinner together, exchanged presents, played cards and Wii. At Janice's place, we took Polaroid shots with everyone squashed up together on the bed, and counted down for x'mas with teletext to be accurate. It was a lovely day :)

25th Dec' 2011, SundayChristmas was spent with my family as we watched Christmasy movies together (like 'Christmas with the Kranks' hahahahaha) at home. It was a simple day indeed but it was definitely good enough :)

Afternoon was spent playing PS1 Metal Slug, watching MFBBT, youtube videos and Running man hehehehe actually it had been a long time since I last watched recent RM............................
This morning qq came over to my place to watch a movie with me hahahaha but we didn't get to watch finish! Skipped recent RM episodes and watched the latest one today. It has to be one of the best episodes; it was really interesting like really!!!!!!!!!!! In this episode, each of them gained a super power that they could then use on each other.......................
Kwang Soo – First he has to find a piece of 'death note' where he can write anyone's name on top to eliminate that person instantly. Can only be used once though! So after he has used that he'll be completely powerless hahahaha
Ji Hyo – A secret power (which I will not reveal) + knowing everyone else' individual powers
Jae Suk – Ability to manipulate space (he can choose where he wants each member to be)Can only be used once though!
Haha – Ability to turn back time (Once!)

(18/12) Shopping Sunday (which was relatively unfruitful except that I got to meet my girls)

(19/12) Universal Studios, Monday

Revenge of the Mummy was the most thrilling ride out of all in my opinion. Why? ...Because I didn't take both Battlestar Galactica rides hahahahahahahahaha sigh yes I'm a cheeken and Revenge of the Mummy left me with a row of blue-blacks down my spine :(

(21/12) Wednesday with my dearie
We were supposed to tour Little India that day but we were so hungry we decided to have our late lunch first instead. We ended up @ Seoul Garden, City Square Mall for 3 hours till it was too late to tour hahahaha but I will definitely try Bar B Q (authentic Indian cuisines) some day! It was closed by the time we reached and apparently it serves really good food for a buffet. It's located @ Little India if you're interested in that restaurant too! It's nearer to Farrer Park Mrt station though, just a street beside Exit F!

Today is truly a joyful occasion.

As per tradition in our family, since it's dong zhi, every single one of us gathered at my grandmother's place today for steamboat reunion dinner and tang yuans (yum). Since this year everyone's back from their overseas trip already, it was especially lively at my grandma's place with 9 children, 2 dogs, and over 30 of us. Also, with my uncle's mini birthday celebration and the giving out of souvenirs and chocolates, games and magic tricks, the entire atmosphere was........... indescribable. It was more than just heart-warming y'see. I like it that it's a weekly routine that we head down to grandma's place every sat cause we all forged a strong bond from that, and I'm close to every single one of them. I like that. Enough said, I learnt a new magic trick today yay! I will show it to everyone I see.
